Using Diigo was challenging for me at first because I do not have much experience using online platforms besides Twitter, Instagram, and other social media sites. As I learned to navigate the site I realized that it is a useful tool that I will be able to use for future projects and jobs. One of my favorite parts about Diigo is being able to leave comments on specific parts of a work and seeing other members comments. This allows me to get insight from my peers and expand my thinking on specific topics that I do not know much about.     I have enjoyed blogging because I like to know what other people think about certain topics and I think it is a great way to connect with peers and even strangers. I have experience with blogging in the past but using this platform has shown me better ways to set up my blogs that are user friendly. One aspect I do not like about blogger in particular is that it takes a while to learn how to set up a user friendly blog ...

I have been using twitter since 2013 and it has always been a great source of information. I use it to keep up with sports, current events, and to have a laugh.        The ELA standard encompass a broad range of standards to set up future generations for success. These standards teach students to write, speak, and be literate in a multitude of subjects. For example a standard set for 11th and 12th graders is that they should be able to determine the meaning of different words or phrases. I would be prepared to help them achieve this standard because I know how to teach them to use context clues when figuring out the meaning of words. I am also capable of teaching them about resources they can use to look up words such as dictionaries and glossaries.      One of the resources I chose from the 9-12th grade tool kit is the standards for social studies. One of the standards I would implement in my own classroom is teaching them to use timelines to identify historical data. I think this important because it will teach students what caused historical events and what these events caused after. Teaching stud...
