Distance learning has been difficult for me because I learn better in a traditional classroom with more personal connection. Over the course of online learning I have procrastinated more than usual and have not been able to retain as much information. I like the aspect of having more control over my schedule and being able to work. Everyone learns differently, but when I am a teacher I will try to cater to each student. Making the majority of the lesson interactive where every student can be involved is something I will try to implement.

Open Educational Resources can be a variety of resources; that are mostly found online, and they can be used by anyone free of charge because they are easily accessible. Free resources like these have the goal of improving education by making information available to students and teachers. An article I found lists 16 open educational resources that can be useful for finding free or extremely discounted textbooks. There are also other resources that teach about open educational resources, how to use them, and even how to create your own. OER Article

The past two assignments have taught me a lot of information I did not know about powerpoint. I especially enjoyed the interactive assignment because it is something I will use in my teaching career. Although it took a while for me to figure out how to put everything together comprehensively; in the end it cam together and looked professional. One of the most beneficial things I learned was how to format power points and a way that is easy to read and looks good. Next time I will try to personalize my power points and not use the formats given so it seems more personable.
